More than once, we are attracted by job advertisements such as "earn 7,000 in eight weeks", giving the impression that the offered remuneration is a large sum. Can you really earn so much on your hand? We touch the subject of temporary work and hiring employees. Is temporary work a remedy for a lack of work in Poland?
Currently, the situation is changing, which is worth noting, because a large influx of laborers from the East (mainly from Ukraine) clearly affected the labor market in our country.
Net or great gros loans?
Returning to salaries. I leave the amount of "gross" as net or without specifying the details of the contract without comment. It has become a daily practice of recruiters. We need to be careful in reading the ads. For example, the last recruitment ad for the IT department was proposed 6,000 net (B2B). What does the secret B2B abbreviation mean? developing, it is "business to business", meaning we pay you the amount, and you issue an invoice to us, and also pay your own ZUS (health, social and pension insurance) and taxes. So this net B2B salary is net gross!
Pale Fire, turtle as a sprinter. Maybe a naive to be found. A 7000 divided into two gives 3500 gross monthly, which results in a wage payment of around two thousand zlotys. Where are these thousands?
Temporary work or self-employment?
How does temporary work affect the situation on the Polish labor market? Is it a lesser evil than employment itself, which is often abused by some employers? Employees from Ukraine add to this what?
The situation with employees from the eastern border is somewhat reminiscent of the one from ten-fifteen years ago, when a wave of economic emigration started from PO's liquidation in Poland - for example from Szczecin to Bavaria, the Netherlands and Norway. Polish electricians and welders-grinders flooded the Federal Republic of Germany, finding work despite practically zero level of German language skills. We know, because at the beginning the work was "group", one knew the language, the rest kept it. At present - from at least 2012 - Germans wish people with German knowledge. And such people - at the Polish level of professional knowledge and our diligence - find further work behind the western border. Is it possible to perform a simple comparison of that situation with the present employee situation in Poland? About this in the next study.
